JOB SUMMARY
The City of Bradenton Beach is looking for a full-time Permit Technician to join our Planning & Development / Building Department.

This is an entry-level opportunity, and previous municipal permitting experience is not required. If you’re organized, comfortable working with people and technology, willing to learn, and looking for a career with room to grow, we want to hear from you. The City will train the right candidate.
As a Permit Technician, you’ll work directly with residents, contractors, design professionals, and City staff while learning building permitting, planning and zoning, floodplain management, coastal development, construction, and local government operations.
It’s a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with local government, build professional skills and certifications, and start a career that can grow with you.
