Job Summary
The Deputy Program Manager / Senior Solutions Architect serves as the senior technical advisor responsible for leading enterprise IT modernization, infrastructure strategy, cloud and hybrid solutions, cybersecurity, networking, automation, and systems engineering initiatives. This role provides technical leadership, oversees enterprise architecture, drives digital transformation projects, and supports secure, scalable, and mission-critical IT environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the senior technical advisor on enterprise IT strategy and modernization initiatives.
Lead planning, design, and implementation of enterprise infrastructure modernization projects.
Develop cloud, hybrid, virtualization, networking, and cybersecurity architectures.
Drive automation, orchestration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and ServiceNow workflow improvements.
Provide technical leadership across systems engineering, networking, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams.
Support enterprise and research computing environments with secure and scalable solutions.
Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and engineering evaluations.
Integrate cybersecurity best practices, RMF, Continuous ATO, STIG compliance, and vulnerability management.
Develop technology roadmaps, engineering standards, and lifecycle management strategies.
Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Support workforce planning, resource management, and strategic IT initiatives.
Collaborate with government stakeholders and senior leadership to ensure successful program execution.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain or maintain a Secret Clearance.
IAT Level II Certification or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
12+ years of experience in enterprise IT operations, systems engineering, infrastructure modernization, enterprise architecture, or automation within large-scale Federal or DoD environments.
Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, containerization, networking, cybersecurity, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
Knowledge of RMF, Continuous ATO, STIG compliance, vulnerability management, and ITIL practices.
Strong leadership, technical planning, and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience as a Lead Engineer, Enterprise Architect, Solutions Architect, Chief Engineer, or Technical Director.
Experience supporting classified and unclassified enterprise environments.
Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS, Azure, VMware, or ITIL.
